Eric Khoo placed Singapore on the global film map with his first two films, Mee Pok Man (1995) and 12 Storeys (1997). Together, both films have been screened at over 60 film festivals and won numerous awards. His third feature which he directed, Be With Me (2005), opened Cannes Directors’ Fortnight in 2005. His fourth feature film My Magic (2008) was nominated for the Palme D’Or in Cannes’ official selection.
