Based on the award-winning novel by Minfong Ho, Sing To The Dawn is the story of an amazing young girl from a rural village on the verge of fulfilling her life's dream - to win a scholarship to study in the big city. Yet the big city is coming to Dawn's village: in the form of corruption, shady real estate deals and threats of violence. Despite this, Dawn's bright outlook leads the village to preserve the way of life they have always cherished.
